About the campus
The Italian Academy is an Italian language and culture center in the city of Syracuse, Sicily.
The campus is located next to the archaeological museum and park, within a short walking distance of the seafront and the island of Ortigia. The main building is a historic villa that boasts over 2 acres of lush botanical garden filled with citrus trees, Mediterranean flora, century-old palms, and magnolias, as well as many other exotic trees and plants. Outdoor lessons, events, workshops, cultural activities such as movie night sand language exchange events are often held within this enchanting setting.
A peaceful oasis in the heart of Siracusa, where students find themselves surrounded by history, nature and friendly staff ready to support them with all sorts of requests. A strategic starting point to explore Sicily and Italy.
