About the country

About Denmark

Denmark is a Scandinavian country closely tied to the sea, made up of the Jutland peninsula and many islands. It is known for "hygge", a word describing a cosy, unhurried way of life, as well as its design culture and bicycle-friendly cities. Danish is the official language, but English is widely spoken in daily life, which makes practising English in Copenhagen feel very natural.

UpLife's options in Denmark are English language programmes in Copenhagen. These are usually delivered in immersion formats based on one-to-one lessons and staying in your teacher's home. They are a different alternative for students who want a personalised pace of learning instead of large classes, while also experiencing life in a Scandinavian capital.

Copenhagen can be reached from Türkiye by direct and connecting flights. The city's compact layout means you can get to know it easily from your very first days. Thanks to the country's small size, trains take you to coastal towns in a short time, so you can spend weekends discovering a different side of Denmark.
